  • Provide a domain and a Linux host for your site.

Step 1: Choose the right management system for your site.

Before you decide on domain and hosting, you must first define your site’s content management system.

What is the meaning of the site management system?
The site content management system, known as CMS, is a software system that has predefined tools for writing content, inserting images and links, generally managing one or more websites, allowing user registration, and much more, without the need for you to know any programming languages or the need to code anything.

WordPress CMS

WordPress is a free and open source content management system with its core written in PHP. Joomla has a long history and an active development community (with over 200,000 users), so it’s very easy to find Joomla resources and tutorials. There are also tons of plugins and themes for Joomla! Therefore, you do not usually need to write code to develop web pages using Joomla!

Strengths:

  • The existence of a powerful community around this software
  • There are over 6,000 plugins and modules for this application
  • There are many Drupal support companies

Weak points:

  • Abundant similarity between sites built with this content management system
  • Lack of high quality themes
  • The formatting of the system is relatively complicated

Step 2: Get a domain and Linux hosting for your site.
You need two base things to set up your online site.
